Retirement should be encouraged as soon as 65, and required by 75. A clear mind that is in touch with and aware of current situations is vital for a functioning democracy.
Voting districts should be drawn and voted on by the people, not the politician.
Elected officials are restricted to 10 years in one office, 20 years in total. (10 years in congress, 10 years as senator, prohibited from running for president)
Elected officials are entitled to no more than the minimum federal wage compensation
Elected officials are forbidden from receiving gifts. Any ceremonial gifts received are to be stored somewhere visible to the public at all times, and donated to a museum upon the end of the elected officials term.
Elected officials are forbidden from vacationing with powerful and influential characters.
Violation of any rule should be punished with immediate removal from office, and a 10 year ban on serving in a public capacity. Secondary offense will result in a permanent ban.
If a rule is violated and sentencing isn’t carried out, the public may execute justice by any means necessary and are exempt from any and all legal persecution.
