Family Matters

Shits expensive. shits terrifying. starting a family is a huge burden and a huge responsibility that the government expects us to foot the bill for

We need child care, we need postpartum maternal care, we need up to a year of paid time off for both parents. We need free pre-k. we need to make the knowledge and resources needed to start a family right available to all Americans.

We also have to address the constant “the world is on fire” thing we’ve got going on. Even if all of the above was guaranteed, I wouldn’t feel right bringing a child into this world. Much more needs to be done. I won’t entertain the idea of having kids until America has proven a true dedication to a post war reality and preserving the earth we all live on.
