Raise your hand if you have a Uterus or are a surgeon set to perform on someone with a Uterus.

If your hand isn’t raised you shouldn’t have a say on what a Uterus haver does with their Uterus. and the second group is on thin ice.

The facts are simple, when denied access to reproductive healthcare, be it birth control or contraceptives or abortions, infant mortality and maternal mortality go up.

but Kevin, you might say if you’re dumb, abortions have a 100% infant mortality rate, how could allowing them cause infant mortality to go down?

secondly, you’re confusing infant mortality with fetal mortality. fetal mortality is less like killing a baby, and more like having your period or busting a nut. it isn’t a human yet. and if you think it is, I’ve got a picture of a dolphin that’ll really trip you up.

Last but not least, most abortions happen because someone who wanted and planned for a pregnancy received terrible medical news. maybe twins developed, but the failing health of one is jeopardizing them both.

Maybe the mother could be saved to fuck another day, but only if her already dead baby is removed.

there’s countless horror stories like these where the only safe way out is through the emotionally devastating process of getting an abortion. Its not a decision anyone takes lightly. Its not something anyone wants to do, no matter what you read in an online comment thread.

It is sad healthcare, but it is healthcare nonetheless.
