Universal Suffrage

Regardless of race, gender, religion, or any other checked box that we’ve arbitrarily drawn, Everyone should have a say in how things are run.

Everyone. As soon as they feel like they get it, they should be allowed to vote. Even if they aren’t 18 yet. Children are people. They deserve a say in how things are run. If they want to vote for no homework, they should be allowed to vote for no more homework. If they want to vote for universal education so they can study stem or humanities, they should be allowed to do so. If they want to vote on labor rights so they can get more time with their parents (especially if there’s a new baby in the house) they should be allowed to so. Kids are smarter than we give them credit for. Most of them are a hell of a lot smarter than the 90 year old fossils we have running the country as it is.
